Getting a GREAT START on Creativity!

Ask any interior designer what first interested them about the design profession, and they probably respond with a comment about wanting to be creative – and still get paid for it. At some point in their childhood, they were introduced to the concept of what it means to be creative and were given an opportunity to express themselves through color, form or even function.

For a couple years running, RATIO has been lucky enough to participate in the OfficeWorks GREAT START program, benefiting the Boys and Girls Club. This program is aimed at helping children ranging from eight to 12 years old discover their creativity through participating in a series of crafting activities that teach them about the design industry. On average, more than 100 children take part in this yearly event.
